RXL Adds Gzip Compression to XML Templates

RXL has added Gzip compression to its XML templates, cutting loading times by up to 85%. If you’re using one of the free XML templates, you can update now to cut the waiting time your visitors experience before they can make a purchase.

One of our favorite pharmacy affiliate programs, RX Limited, has updated its XML-based affiliate templates to support Gzip compression — cutting load times by around 85%!

If you’re using RXL’s free affiliate templates (what, you’re not taking advantage of their investment in quality site designs? why not?!), this could be worth a look, as we all know that a visitor sitting there waiting for their browser to load and render a page is a visitor who is not buying anything. For now, compression is only supported on the XML templates, but since it was these which were slower to load anyway, the technology offers the greatest benefit for these templates.
