Commission Structure

Unlike most SYOP (set your own price) affiliate programs, this one pays first-tier commissions computed as 60% of the difference between your chosen selling price and your base price, excluding any shipping fees, which are retained by RX Limited. Sound tricky? It's not so bad, really, and the main advantage of this system is that it enables affiliates to achieve a higher effective rate of commission at a lower selling price than most other programs. An example may help clarify...

Suppose a given medication has a base price of $100, and you set your retail price at $200. The difference between these is $100, of which you retain $60 (60%). Shipping fees are retained by the merchant and begin at $19.95 for next day delivery. You can set shipping fees lower if you wish, but RX Limited will still deduct the full shipping amount from your commission.

This commission arrangement allows a great deal of flexibility and, in particular, allows affiliates to set very competitive retail prices while still earning a high percentage of the selling price. (By contrast, most SYOP affiliate programs in pharmacy feature relatively high base prices, meaning that affiliates don't make money unless customers are being hit with high selling prices.)

For the additional tiers, RX Limited pays an overriding minimum of 5% for the second tier and 1% for the third. However, second tier affiliates can also be recruited to refer traffic directly to your affiliate site, and you can set whatever payout levels you like for those sub-affiliates! We're not aware of any other affiliate program which makes it so easy to run an affiliate program of your own!

Tracking and Reporting

The custom back office for this program offers full tracking and reporting of commissions and sales. In an unusual twist, the program even allows affiliates to include custom tracking code on checkout pages. While this is useful for many different purposes, perhaps the most intriguing feature of this capability is that it enables an affiliate to insert the custom tracking code of a third party affiliate tracking system such as those from the big affiliate networks. So, you actually have two entirely independent options for running your own affiliate program: you can either use the built-in feature for signing up sub-affiliates to refer traffic to your site, or you can bolt on a third-party affiliate tracking solution from any provider you like!

Additional Notes on this Affiliate Program

As far as we're aware, no other program currently competes with this one in terms of options for running your own affiliate program to generate sales for your site. The low base prices also enable affiliates to take away a higher percentage at a lower selling price than almost any other program. (At very high prices, this same system also means that RX Limited is no longer as competitive.)
